We were there in November and did not find any issues with moorings or obstructions in the mooring field.

I have not stayed in Trellis since the storm, just entered similar to what you did.
We will be back there in February as well... And Welcome to TTOL Ocean Song
Deepcut: I was initially skeptical when our skipper headed into Trellis to pick up the mooring and drop off the crew member. Although there were lots of boats in Trellis, it looked sketchy. It was no problem so on this occasion our skipper's judgment was spot on. His catamaran uses the color orange liberally which caused me to wonder "is he warning others to stay clear". It's good to hear that another experienced skipper feels Trellis is still a safe anchorage. You should meet the skipper I speak of, I think you might have lots in common with him!

We stayed there in November 2018. All we saw was safe.
