Anyone charter the CYOA Lipari 41? Reactions? How does she sail?
Looks like a very nice boat - I really like the sep. freezer that CYOA puts in

I might be a little biased . She is a very nice boat. The owners are professional mariners and spare no expense in her upkeep and maintenance. It has a very nice owners suite starboard. With a huge head like the Mahe. Well air-conditioned, Separate top load fridge and front load freezer. Full Raymarine electronics package including AIS, Plotter, Autopilot etc. Nice sun screen on the hard top to cut down the afternoon heat from the west, and we are in the process of installing sun screens on the salon windows as well. I have a new set of davits to make the tender easier to raise those will be installed by next season as well. Here is a link to photos on the owners facebook page. Warning these will induce DIF. Sail Just Kat Photos And to add more confusion to your decision here are some spy photos of Sail Pending the new four cabin four head Lipari that's coming in the fall. Sail Pending Facebook Jay

Twanger said: The sunscreen is nice. The cockpit can get really hot in the afternoon while sitting at anchor or on a mooring.
A couple of times we've anchored/moored by the stern to keep the cockpit in the shade and facing the breeze. It works great unless there's a shower, and then the whole place gets soaked! I have a friend who is a cat owner in a major charter co fleet. He says he is now doing that frequently. Gets lots of funny looks and passerby hollers of "hey captain...you know you are tied up backwards?". I might try it next trip.
JPH I spent my money on booze, broads, and boats...the rest I wasted.

The CYOA 3 cabin boat is a great charter boat - spacious, comfortable, the gen set and a/c work and it sails nicely when the winds get above 13-15. We had JustKat for a week in November and really liked the boat. The engines are powerful enough, and maneuver the boat well. The refrigerator and freezer are awesome. Electric Heads work well. The sliding door is difficult to operate. PM with any specific questions, but mark us down as satisfied customers.
