Python/Boa Constrictor?

Someone posted a picture on another site of a very large snake that supposedly escaped during Irma. This pic was said to have been taken in Grand Case. Anyone know if this is true or “fake news”?

So this man gets away with releasing these monsters? There are little children that play outside in SXM. Where is his brains???? Good grief!

As to your question about the location of his brains, I am betting that's just a rhetorical question correct? We all know what part of his anatomy his brains are contained in!!

Supposedly the snake escaped, he didn't let it loose on purpose. If the story is even true.

I don't think anyone has to be worried about these snakes unless your part the rodent family. If anything, they may be helpful.

I think the point was regarding the original possession of the snake...not releasing it.....some haves little fluffy dogs...some have huge snakes. Some NEED huge snakes...others do not

Yes, that's what I read. If this story is true, it will eat rats but if agitated, it will also attack. They bite (not poisonous) but the bite can be harmful. They constrict their prey until they die, like animals and also children. I hope this is fake news.

Yes, in Asia I witnessed a horrible boa attack on a neighborhood pet. Not cool.

I read that the owner picked up one and two were taken to the zoo. No way for me to confirm it.

I read that about the zoo also, but there currently is no zoo in SXM. However, I read on FB that Ursula indicated the situation had been resolved. I assume she knows what she's talking about.

And, strangely, 4 of these were stolen from the zoo prior to Irma.

Strange indeed. What would anyone want with four boas???
