Symphony of the Seas in port

Largest cruise ship in the world in port today. Well over 6,000 passengers. Lookout Maho and Mullet. Going to be standing room only.

Sunset isn't horrible now, but it's 3:30 local time, so lots of people probably already headed back to the ship.

The Buses also takes them to Kim Sha Beach where they hang out and eat at Buccaneer and Green House.

Sunset was a "madhouse"! The ship is an ugly monster.

I hope a you tuber posts their vacation on Symphony of the Seas in SXM port...

There are supposed to be six ships in today. Now THAT will be a mess at Sunset!

Glad I am heading out in the other direction!

Maho beach jammed at 10am!

Expecting over 20,000 today.

Doesn't look too crazy at Maho right now....I've seen worse! lol


Edit: I lied....as I was watching 3 more buses pulled in. Oh, the humanity!

Just took a look and it's not busy at all considering the 6 ships in port today.

The beach at Maho was so busy there was standing room only. Not an inch of sand without feet planted on it! I have never seen so many people on that beach in over 25 years.

I am really bummed! We were to be arriving on the Oceania Riveria on 12/6, but they cancelled St Maarten port and replaced it with immediately after boarding ship in Miami. I wa so lookin forward to seeing the island after Irma.

Replaced it with Tortolla.

Wow, double bummer! Missing SXM and instead Tortola? Tortola is a terrible cruise ship stop.

HMS Queen Mary in port today! She doesn't come to SXM very often.

What was their reason for canceling?
