Unusual JetBlue flight change?

Unusual JetBlue flight change? - 06/07/2022 02:41 AM

JetBlue typically has a winter AM JFK-SXM flight and afternoon SXM-JFK return.
Pre-covid, it was flight number 787 (788 coming back) and this winter it was 1178 (188 coming back)

Looks gone for Feb 2023 yet AA has flights with comparable pre-covid times. Oh well.

Jet Blue seems to be scaling back their commitment to SXM altogether. We were originally booked on Jet Blue from Ft Lauderdale for this trip, and of course Jet Blue has pulled out of FLL for now. Allegedly they may resume flights from FLL to SXM in the late fall. I personally won't be holding my breath waiting for it.

I loved both of the flights arrive before noon and depart 12:30 no waiting around in airport

The JetBlue flights are still there, just moved later in the day. Same with the direct from Boston to SXM. I won’t dispute the annoyance of that though as I would definitely prefer the earlier arrival and an extra day on the beach.

They still have the N/S Saturday r/t but the "Blue" flight is $1366 before we add the extra room seat cost (January flight). I think I will endure a stop to save $700 x 2

I do agree, it seems they are pulling back.

Try again....N/S R/T for $1500+ each (regular seats) and two connecting in EWR for $960 ea. (11/5-12)

I gave up on JB for the next trip (1/15-29) and also gave up on BOS...both had only connecting flights (Sunday), PVD was $110 more each but the garage parking is MUCH cheaper...like $400+ cheaper for 15 days (don't like shoveling my car out when I get back)...and the ride to PVD is way shorter

So BOS for non-winter flights (park at PreFlight) and PVD for potential snow returns (garage parking)

$1,500 each from Boston on Jet Blue? Holy cow! We just booked Delta (round trip) to SXM direct for March 2023 main cabin for $423.00 each.

If by direct you mean with a connection I see those but I didn't see any N/S Delta flights to SXM from BOS and also checked March....Tues/Wed/Thurs fares are decent but the w/e fares are up there

The $1500 referred to a non-stop as mentioned

Edit: The N/S is not showing up anymore and the connectors for the 11/5-12 flight are $1171 r/t

Changes daily

Hoesntly, look to book soon. With fuel prices per barrel surging, its only a matter of time again before airlines begin with fuel surcharges again...
