AA connecting times

AA connecting times - 06/08/2022 08:36 PM

Looking ahead to January - almost all the AA flights from Boston have a warning message about the connecting times. Does this make any sense at all? Why schedule flights where the connecting time is problematical?

I've noticed that as well. I really try to get a later connecting flight if possible as my running through the airport to catch a flight at my age is a distant memory.

I no longer have any desire to sprint through airports. I'd rather take a 3-hour connection than a warning about connect times.

Same for flights Bosto to SXM 11/5-12/22. 11/2 hrs customs to connection on return flt is squeamish for me. How is customs with global entry in charlotte pleaseπŸ‘‹β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™

When we came through CLT in March, Global Entry was using facial recognition and we zipped through there in no time. The delay was waiting for luggage so we could clear customs.

Same here in Miami this last weekend. Took no more than 3 min from GE Kiosk with facial but took 45 min for luggage. Hence a missed connection and a night in Miami on them.

It would make a huge difference if US C & I was in SXM. So convenient when we left Aruba and reduces connection issues a bit
