Just a word of caution - it does get a certain amount of nude use but technically it is not considered to be a nude use beach like areas of Orient or even Cupecoy . Be prepared for the possibility of the occasional local or family group to take offense. Common sense will tell you whether or not it’s a good day for clothing optional. 🙂🙂
I was there a couple times in Feb 2021. The first time, I entered from Friars. Up the hill, then down. Not an easy walk, but I survived to find a secluded beach. Just me on the north end of the beach, and another guy on the south end (about 500 feet away).
Couple days later, I parked on Rue Happy Bay and walked in. Easier walk. At that time I was the only person on the beach, again on the north end. Very nice. Until a jet-ski tour group showed up (cruise ship excursion). About two dozen people. I didn't stay...

We normally go on weekdays. Weekends is more families so we head to Orient on those days. Like Pat said earlier just use common sense and judge by the crowd. Great beach though.

Thanks for those great shots. That’s one of our favorite beaches in the world. So nice staying in Villa Canoua and being able to walk down.

The island is extremely dry. A local friend said they haven’t had rain Quartier-d'Orleans in months. Just had a heavy downpour at 3 am in Grand Case area and it stopped. Started again about 5am and stopped. Heavy cloud cover but the sun is peeking through in spots to the northeast. It’s supposed to rain all day but we’ll see. It sucks to lose a day to weather but happy for the island and residents if it does come. C’est la vie, non?

Would someone mind telling me what the "easiest" way to get to this beach is? Thanks so much!
