Near the East End environs:

Better Dinning:
Tukka - can be very good, but has lacked for us on recent visits. Fine view.
Italian Kitchen - been good for us, especially the fresh fish, haven't really sampled much of the Italian. Tough have not been since they expanded their space. No view.
The Light House - really can't beat dinning under the star on their over water deck. Very good food and great service (most visits, especially of late).
Rum Point Club - Great fresh fish, other dishes can be hit or miss, same goes for service. Not much of a view.
Kaibo Upstairs - most "foodie" focused menu, rarely disappoints. Ok view.

Over the Edge and Miss Vivine's Kitchen have great views, but are not near fine dinning.

Great spots in George Town-Seven Mile Beach-West Bay:
Grand Old House - Wonderful setting, good-very good food, excellent service. great view
The Brasserie - probably some of the best food on island (have not tried Eric Ripert's Blue yet, though. No view
La Dolce Vita - very good Italian, service can be hit or miss. Great view
Calypso Grill - absolute fave for fresh fish. Deck can be cramped. Very good view
Pappagallo - another good Italian
Luca - interior is great, limited outdoor seating, with less than stellar atmosphere, but food is very good.
Osetra Bay - Almost all about atmosphere and presentation, but the food backs up the show. So-so view depending on seating location.

Others to consider:
Blue
Blue Cilantro
Abacus
Agua
Michael's Genuine
Ortanique
Morgan's Harbour - good view

Snorkel air just tastes better than canned air...

Michael's Genuine is great. I've been several times to the original here in Miami.
Cheers
