Very interesting. I don't ever recall being bitten by a mosquito in St. Martin.
Unlike in my childhood visiting my grandparents in Tampa, FL, where I attracted every flying insect known to man (or woman).

Paradise is an island in the Caribbean!

i disagree with their research..

1. my skin is cold. it's clear, frozen, sluggish veins and all yet i used to be bitten alive as soon as i stepped off the plane. it's cold in canada come february. it would take many alcoholic beverages on my first night to raise my body temp. :)

2. i'm a blood type

3. i wear light coloured pants

what i have learned thru both experience and local folklore is true. the more frequent i show up, the less bites i get. my last two vacays produced nary a bite... so i can safely say i am 6 weeks (mosquito) clean. hhhhh

here's to no more scars from scratching.
