Tomorrow is moving day and as much as I want to be at Beachside Villas, I really have enjoyed our stay here at the Towers and hate to leave. And even more than that, I have to pack and I sure do hate packing. But later for all that.
Awoke in the middle of the night to the sounds of a heavy downpour so I jumped up and closed all the windows and sliders. The rain lasted ten minutes or less and then I had to get up and open them all up again. I don't recall this many evening and overnight showers but who knows, perhaps they weren't heavy enough to wake us and once the sun breaks in the morning everything dries so quickly so I could have missed them over all these years. But we're still experiencing sun showers off and on this morning. It is what it is - c'est la vie! And the grass is so beautifully green out on the golf course. I couldn't complain if I wanted to. (And I really don't.....) It's been pretty much hazy and overcast here most of the day but with the mildest of breezes blowing, so this is NOT a bad thing. The only negative we've really experienced over the full two weeks so far were some moskies out by the pool today but a little moskie repellent and then the breezes kicked in again. No problem, Mon!
So I feel like I've been packing all day and yet, I've barely made a dent in the finished project. Why did I ever feel we needed all this 'stuff' anyway? Back in January we did one carry-on each and still had clean stuff to take home.
We went back to Boca Marine for dinner again tonight. It's convenient with no traffic between us and them. The food is good and the prices reasonable. John had a salad and I had fish and while I didn't note the price, I did notice a 15% add on - AND - an additional note that tips are appreciated. Right!
We paid our dues at the Casino Royale once again and then headed home to do more stuff, and our next stop is the beach at Simpson Bay tomorrow and I can't wait!!
