Some Years ago at an Elmtones acoustic gig I had the privilege of meeting this guy over a Djembe drum, which he played with great skill. A free spirit and mariner he told me he was going to join a project recreating the early voyages of the Polynesians sailing traditional canoes/catamarans across the pacific...as Captain..mmm hard core stuff I thought. I disbelieve most of the Gung Ho stories I hear in the bar but I believed Duncan and sure enough he did it. and alot more..raising awareness of the fragile state of our environment and oceans Right now he is facing a bad storm and a long upwind slog.. He needs a hand from shipmates around the world https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/itshopeorhighwaterforduncanmorrisonand what could be easier than helping out by buying Duncans book http://www.hopeorhighwater.com/hope-or-high-water-the-book/Thanks folks...
