We are much more interested in nice, quiet, walk-able beaches than we are in music, and drinking, and nightlife. Sounds like St John is for you. You do have to be careful of the wind. The southern bays can be rolly in some weather. Also be aware of the park regulations, as there is basically no anchoring on the south side.
