You will still have to check out of the BVI before you head to STJ and of course back in upon returning. Going all the way to Cruz Bay does suggest a visit to the South shore anchorages mentioned BUT unless you choose to return via the STJ North shore route it is not an easy sail to any C&I destination for the returning BVI check-in
