Yep - I had a tripod.

Above the restaurant, about 300 feet straight up on the mountain, the resort has what they call the SKY POOL. It is a beautiful pool that hangs on the side of the cliff. I took my big camera and tripod because of the amazing view from the pool and in hopes of catching a flash again.

We went to dinner directly after the sunset, and since I had the tripod with me, I put my little camera (which does movies) on the tripod during the coffee presentation. I think it worked pretty well, but it does lose focus sometimes. I think that may have been the low light. Tripods are a PAIN to take with you, but I would never been able to snap the flash without it.

BTW - tripods do not normally accompany me to dinner <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />
