I had a pretty good view of the Regatta boats today - from the start boat and finish line

Some interesting times, including a collision and much shouting at the start line. I gather an incident involving loss of a finger occurred on the other course and there were numerous protests; but overall the conditions were perfect for a spirited race - skippers could choose to reef or not.
