* Secure the cabin - very annoying when sitting in the cockpit and hearing a door slam or some cup that just went flying. Arg!
* Some would say radio check. In the BVI I think I'm one of the few that actually has it turned on so I don't bother. I tried to radio boat in the SFD last trip that left its dinghy behind. They did not answer but someone noticed it missing and they came back for it as we were getting ready to pick it up.
