I was fortunate enough to be proposed to in the BVI's (keep in mind this is a second marriage for both of us with grown children AND grandchildren) and even looking back at it now the where didn't matter just that it did happen THERE! We were actually in the parking lot at Leverick Bay at the time. I'll surely never forget it. The best part was to be able to share it and celebrate with our BVI FAMILY of Friends! And better still getting married in the BVI's was OVER THE TOP of anything I could have imagined would ever happen to me! Best of luck!
