It's altogether possible someone had a great night at the casino but having been told almost this identical story so long ago, and questioning then and now why you'd have a watch of this value with you and yet not wear it out to dinner, I hope the poster comes back and shares more here.

I've known most of the staff at the Towers since it opened and they have almost no turn-over of personnel. I just can't imagine any of these people risking their jobs for even that much cash.
