Also, more than 5' of the OAL is the hollow back deck on the sugar scoops. I have tied up to moorings and, after inspecting them (as I would no matter the size of my boat), slept soundly knowing that my boat posed no greater threat to the ground tackle than most smaller yachts in charter.
