We went to Super U for water, wine, lettuce, tomato, pastries, canned tuna, baguette, yogurt, bottles of wine and a six pack of Ting for lunches. $30.27. Big mistake! Store so crowded couldn't move down isles. I guess it's because their prices are so low. We got into aline that took only credit card and we'd planned to pay cash. Small mistake. Thanks to info from Carol Hill we got a cart instead of a carry because you can't bring carry to car.
Moday ate at Spiga. 2 salads, 2 fist sized servings of past bolognese 2 wines $100. service not included they said. Maybe because we have such great Italian restaurants where we live, we didn't;t find food to be special and it was expensive.
Tuesday breakfast at Sunset Cafe. Early dinner in unit: cooked chicken from Leder Price, because didn't;t want a rushed meal in town due to Harmony Night. Parade small, very few vendors perhaps because it's winding down.
Wed. The best meal of the trip: Le Prossoir. If you have front desk make your rsvp before 6:30 pm they give you 20% of bill. The food & service were outstanding! We both had the veal special, veal fillet surrounded by crispy veal pieces off the bone, smokey garlic mashed potatoes, sweet pepper stuffed with eggplant puree onion puff pastry and a bottle of Chateau Nerf de Pape to celebrated our anniversary. Ended with 1 sambucca and a pear liquor. $89
