Hotel La Plantation in Orient posted a Facebook update on their property and plans for reopening. After several days of trying to get some idea of how they fared, this was the first news I found.

Property damage really isn't mentioned, but the hotel is being used by military and emergency personnel. It sounds like a "partial opening" is planned for next year. We had reservations for December, but I'm glad to hear they'll be back eventually.
