i drove around the island yesterday and took several pictures ... Dreams , la sand does not exist any more only a broken sign... Terrabase all the villas are being worked on based on all the work that is being done i would say in a few months close to march/ april they should be fuctional...

Nettle bay area total destruction ... it will be over a year before anything there gets back to normal.

Orient bay yes there are damages i think most of the damages are to the restaurants that got completely wiped out ... all the water front homes ate completely destroyed but others are being worked on...

I saw prople around in a few months i think who ever can open will open for sure...

Right now Petie casino , macrons(. brunos place) both out of commision . The neighbouring restaturents like noon the craperie place, the french breakfast place where they sell fresh baquette, the chinese grocery store is open... Bikini beach , Kontiki beach does not exist ... the beach is bare with no restaurent...

Further down grancase 1 lolos is open the other should be open next week. La villa is open and rain bow cafe is open the rest of the places are closed ( lot of destruction there. But from the sign of things i would not be surprised if in a couple of months the restaturents there work hard to reopen...

There is still lot of activity in grandcase but most of the restaurants are currently closed.

Further down i went to happy bay area - la savane mount choisey the villas there look farely intact if there are some damages i am sure it will be fixed in a couple of months ...

French cul desac - total destrction - ferry area to pinel only the small terminal structure left ...

i took a drive down where the madodo rum factory is total destruction in the area, very very sad ... it will take a while for the entire area to be rebuilt. Villa Pizza does not exist ...

Club O i just cried could not take it anymore and stopped and returned back home . Total destruction ...

Dutch side looks much better things are slowly getting back to normal ... slowly but surely the restaurents are opening up...
