We were there when Lenny (I think that was the name)came through in mid November of 99 and I think Luis in early July around 1996. There are a couple of good hurricane sites that can give you a heads up with pending storms. Technically yes, but insurance companies do not require boats to be hurricane ready until August 1 to November 1.
