Is it not advisable to take a 48 foot mono to dock at Oil Nut Bay? Just trying to make our plans. We have never been to ONB, but very excited to check it out. The Gun Creek Ferry is fine if neccessary.

Have your Captain refer to the current VI cruising guide by Nancy and Simon Scott (page 235-236 in the 18th edition). The marked channel from Saba Rock to the ONB Marina "is reported to carry 8 feet". Personally, I plan to survey it on our next trip aboard the Gun Creek to ONB ferry and only then will I consider it for our next trip after that.
