Hi all...
A friend just returned from the USVI and told me that Political Correctness is now sneaking in the Caribbean and the marine world. He said that the word MAN is now more and more replaced by the word PERSON, and he gave me some examples:
• MAN OVERBOARD is now PERSON OVERBOARD
• The Caribbean traditional HEY MON!, has now become HEY! PERSON...
• And my favorite...: the jellyfish MAN-O-WAR has become PERSON-O-WAR.... Can you believe this????
I mean, where this insanity is going to end??? please tell me this is not true...??
