Stayed from 12/27-12/29 at the Tropicana which is fine but still undergoing some renovations, the rooms were nice but the check in desk was right in the thick of loud music and bells from the casino, once the renovations are complete it will be more pleasant. Cirque Du Soleil 'O' - amazing, loved it, we didn't care that the story line was loose, it felt like a dream unfolding. The Lion King - wonderful, moving, second to last day of it's Las Vegas run. Mon Ami Gabi - great food, service and atmosphere. Bacio's - decent food, server favored Hollywood table over ours (I'm sure he got a bigger tip from them as there were about 8 of them and only 4 of us...) liked Mon Ami Gabi better. Lunch at Noodles at the Bellagio - very friendly service, good food. Both breakfasts at Starbucks, first at Tropicana second across the bridge at MGM because the one at Tropicana only had a 1/4 case of food that was all from the day before, don't quite get how a Starbucks could not realize it needed more muffins but it may have been a delivery issue, at least there was another one close. We won't be heading back to Vegas any time soon, too much smoke, that undercurrent of sleeze, parents with strollers and their little ones out at midnight were downers. The constant music everywhere and bathrooms around every corner were things my mom and I enjoyed. My 14 year old daughter on Las Vegas, "I didn't like it." We did enjoy the shows and Mon Ami Gabi though!
