More on what's going on from Yvonne.

We are headed off island for awhile, so here's my last on-site report for now at Flamingo: Roof work is underway on the flat roof buildings 3 and 4. As previously reported a last minute decision was made to completely remove former roofing (many times repaired) and replace with 100% new and high quality materials. We still hear some drilling and jackhammers inside a few areas, but it's most likely some form of follow-up because it is not wide spread.

Royal Palm: Status is the same as previously reported. Roofing appears largely complete with maybe some inspections and "touch up" going on.

Both resorts are very tidy and landscaping is ongoing. If you are on the island, do come by to take a look...there is a 10 foot fence keeping people out for safety and security, but you can walk the perimeter of the properties to take a look.

Both resorts are scheduled to start Rebuilding at the same time when supplies and materials arrive. That is expected to begin sometime in the next month or two. Things should progress rapidly after that begins.

Let's all HOPE no storms this fall....that WILL disrupt work!
