That appears to be a picture taken with a cell phone. That happens with them, which I don't understand. Cell phone pictures to show here should be taken only sideways, in order to properly display, OR download them to your computer and save them there and then upload. However, as you said, you can click on the picture and hit the rotate button to view it.
