First time taking computer to Sxm. and will try to post daily, you'll probably find the posts mostly dealing with food.
Flew out of Newark instead of Philadelphia to save $700.
Even after paying for a driver, still two dinners to the good.Only got one hour of sleep since I worked 12 hours on friday. Arrived two hours late due to maintence problems. Not such a big deal since it was cloudy and are staying two weeks.
Got basic provisions for breakfast. Happy hour at Taste Factory, 8 pastries for $6. Right up my ally. With regets to Sucriere, but I love bargains.Picked up Sxm-Priveledge card since many of the restaurants we visit honor it.
Enjoyed Mini Club Claude lobster buffet. They were rocking, and thankfully got in since they were fully committed with reservations. No matter how busy they are, the young owners always have time to send with you. At $60 per person it is a great deal.
Looks alittle cloudy so far but know not to judge the afternoon by the morning. Going to buy beach chairs today. Not sure which beach to hit. Grand Case for dinner for sure. Have most nights planned out with a few nights to wing it.
