Hi there!<br>Just back from 2 weeks in SXM and a week in Aruba. What a great month it has been for me. Unfortunatley nowe back to the real world and work which allows me to travel and pay those vacation bills. Here are some of my thoughts. Hope it will benefit someone going after me, as you have all been of help to me.<br><br>Due to the huge blizzard of Valentines day it took me longer to get to Paradise than planned but well worth the trouble. I missed the TTOL party...sorry Dicky I really wanted to meet you. Rented a car from Safari and they ended up being out of cars due to all stranded on the island a couple extra days due to the weather, but they gave my a much nicer car at the agreed price so have to give them huge cudos for that.<br><br>Weather was a bit rainy first part of week 1. But at least it was in liquid form and not frozen[Linked Image]Went to Sunset beach bar on Sunday. This is the best on Sunday nights. The Jet band is great and met Andi the base player and the drummer what great guys! It was packed and the music was awesome. Met some great locals and hope that we will see each other again next year. It truly is a friendly island.<br>Checked out Hot Tomatoes. I had the pizza which was fairly good but would have to say the Pizza Galley next to Lady C's was better. Just my humble opinion. Also ate at Peg Leg on three different occasions and it was very good all three times. Kabobs, steak, all good and Sean the waiter is the best!<br>Boathouse was great as usual. I have seen a negative post recently, I am sorry to hear this as I have never seen anything like describe in the 12 years I have been going there. Basil and the gang are very professional and we love going there. Check out the stuffed Mahi-Mahi at Bananas. Bob and Fiona took very good care of us and the food was all excellent. We ate at several other places but these stood out this trip.<br>Checked out BBB...saw Neil...great place, but not very busy when we stopped. SSBB still the hopping spot. Went to Pinel island one day and had a great time. It was very nice since it was windy on Orient and Pinel seems to be more protected and not as busy. Will definately do that again. Well...had another wonderful time...hated to come home, but it makes me look forward to next year. I had a good time on Aruba for a week...totally different experience but my heart belongs in SXM.
