Scrub uses two ferries: the original Scrub One, and the new Scrub Two (very plush, with forward-facing seats). They take turns doing the hourly runs. I haven’t seen them speed through the MC mooring field. I just sat and watched them for over an hour, and did not see that at all.

However, there has always been a main boating channel east of Camanoe, west of Marina Cay and Scrub. Boats of all sizes have always zipped through there. Marina Cay has recently had moorings added north and west of their older moorings (where boats used to anchor).

In addition, boats have taken to overnighting along Diamond Reef, both anchored and on the day snorkel moorings (there are three boats there now). That forces the through traffic closer to Marina Cay.

The net result is more traffic nearer the Marina Cay mooring field. It is unfair, in my opinion, to blame this on the Scrub ferry. Choose one of the traditional moorings, to the east, close to Marina Cay.
