It's different, but one way to look at it is like the BVI with much longer legs between islands. A lot however depends on where you start from.
We did a round trip from St. Lucia so we had two really long sails - from St. Lucia to St. Vicent and from Bequia to St. Lucia. Otherwise the legs we're pretty reasonable.
The only other major difference we saw were all the boat boys and then the number of people looking to get money from you once you get on land.
