Tell the blonde you’re booking a room in the San Juan airport hotel, which has been refurbished. A few hours’ sleep after a red eye will leave you refreshed and ready to enjoy your first day of vacation, rather than wasting that day sleeping.
Our experience pretty much mirrors George’s. The SJU food isn’t great, but the new Margaritaville is okay, as is the new coffee shop. Good plan.
