As I was sitting down to write this report and gathering my thoughts, I had to stop and think, what day is it and think back, when did I get here. I guess it's working, Island mode/vacation has set in. Monday as many people mentioned, was overcast all day. Depending on what part of the island you were on, depended on how much rain there was. Here at BSV, there wasn't a whole lot of rain, but it sure wasn't a sand gravity day. It was kind of nice though, just getting acclimated to vacation, visiting friends in different villas, cocktails etc.

We were celebrating another couple's 24th wedding anniversary and decided to go to Sale and Pepe for dinner. WOW, the new location is just gorgeous. What a change and I'm so happy for them. Fabila(Louise) made mention of the dinner in another thread. While there was one person in our group who wasn't particularly fond of her dinner, the rest of us(7) absolutely enjoyed our meals and service was top notch. From there, we all headed over to Casino Royale. Luck was bestowed on 7 of us. Never in our group did we all have good luck like we did on night. Of course, the one in our group who ended up donating, happened to be the same one who didn't have a good experience at dinner. Luck certainly was not on her side on Monday night.

On Monday during the day, David and Louise went over to Orient and La Playa to make reservations for lunch and chairs on the beach for Tuesday. Tuesday arrived and turned out to be a beautiful day. I just love waking up to the sun rises and morning here at BSV. It was such a clear day. It was as if you could reach out and touch Saba it was so clear. Had breakfast in the villa and then headed out to Orient. David and Louise left earlier than the rest of us. We left around 10 and very fortunate to miss the "Crane Incident" mentioned in an earlier thread. We arrived, found David and Louise and parked ourselves there for a good part of the day. It was a beautiful day there. There was a bit of seaweed, but not bad, I've seen a lot worse. In and out of the ocean, a couple of cocktails and who's better than us. Around 1, we walked up the steps to have lunch at Bruno's restaurant. I'll let Louise review the lunch and later our dinner. She really does that so well and I don't want to steal her thunder. She took lots of pictures of the scenery and food which came out fantastic. I'm surprised she hasn't posted yet from yesterday. I'll have to get on her about that....lol.

It was another member of our group's birthday Tuesday so we decided to celebrate at Palapa Grill. Come to find out, they're closed on Tuesdays so we headed off to IZI. As always, David greeted us warmly with hugs and got us a table right away even though we didn't have reservations. Again, I'll let Louise review the dinner, but thankfully, ALL had wonderful dinners and we were all very happy campers. Lots of laughs and fun times. After dinner, a few of us decided to go back to the scene of the crime, Casino Royale. They were ready for us and this time we all ended up donating.

Another beautiful morning here again at BSV. We're just going to stay put today. As much as it's nice to get out and about, visit different beaches etc. I think this is the most beautiful beach on the island. You just can't ask for anything more. Let the good times roll...........
