Agree. It will be awhile before we really know what this bug is and how it operates. Is it just a new “flu” we will have to deal with annually and maybe get a shot?
It seems like it is easy to spread and perhaps what they are calling “super spreaders” might have a big function in asymptomatically spreading ut to everyone at work, the subway, restaurant, etc.
I suppose they should try to keep the jeanie in a bottle as best they can.
https://www.britannica.com/event/Hong-Kong-flu-of-1968I was very little, but I remember my talking mom about how my pediatrician was on a hospital ship in the 50s or 60s off Asia and was always dealing with weird germs and he always cultured all of us kids whenever we went in sick. After the culture came back, he called in the prescription.
I think it wiuld be wise to see this as routine again.
