All persons are confined to only the French Side of the island and cannot cross the border to the Dutch Side. A very long time friend lives on the French side and his daughter who lives with him works at the Dutch hospital. She travels back and forth daily, with the proper paperwork and is often checked at the border crossings according to him. You really need to double check some of the information you are passing on.
