Just for the h*ll of it, just looked at AA from Miami, for October this year and March next year (because March is the latest one can book right now). Prices in October can be had for around $365 r/t, not bad,scheduled on a MAX 8. I think they probably just haven't changed that equipment on those flights yet. Interestingly, flights can be had in March for around $460 r/t, but the equipment is the 738. Not really thinking about actually booking anything yet, but idle curiosity.
