For the record, Kim did offer her home very early on as refuge from the noisy generator (as did her Sister who lives next door to her) - I’m so very lucky to have two great daughters and equally great son-in-laws - but we were totally content to ride out the outage at home. When the noise from our trusty generator became intolerable we just turned it off for a while. But it’s good to know alternative choices are there if you need them.

Both my girls take teasing well - having grown up with their Dad, they had to - and they do have a pretty good sense of humor, too.

One of the really nice things about TTOL, just as with so many normal families, we might squabble among ourselves now and then, but when we need lifting up or support, we’re all here for each other.
