Can't believe that! I've entered St Augustine from the Atlantic and didn't see that cross. Mind you I was keeping a very close eye on the waves, the nav aids and the depth sounder at the time. Didn't enjoy that entry at all.
Mike, I though you might have got it. Entry is known as tricky, especially in bad weather or at night.

You will see a tall cross ahead on shore providing an approximate range to the inlet, which will help you to orient yourself.
