OK, Tahiti and Bora Bora are stunningly beautiful. Hope you get the chance to go there. My only regret with our trip there is that our trip there was so long ago that we used a film camera and our pictures were harmed by all the many security xrays we had to go through, on the cruise ship and otherwise, and our pictures could not capture it's beauty. For Tahiti and Bora Bora, you used to be able to get a relatively good deal on cruises there. The cost of living is SO high there, I think cruises are still a good option.
