We are already planning a trip to Poland for next December. My husband and I plan to visit only Warsaw and Krakow to visit the Christmas markets and to explore these 2 locations for 2 or slightly more than 2 weeks. Is a week long enough or too long to be in each of these 2 locations? Does anyone have any information on the markets, hotels and must see sights? We will be flying to and from Boston but would like to arrive in Warsaw and then leave from Krakow. Is it best to take the train between the 2 cities or a rental car? We are hoping a car will not be necessary. What is public transportation like? This trip will be to explore the cities and enjoy the holidays there. I've heard the Christmas markets are a must. Any info on them? Thanks for anything you can tell me about.
