Yes, my wife and I stayed at Palm Court in Orient Village for the first time last March (pre-COVID). It's a lovely little hotel in a great location and the gated parking lot is right in front. It has a pool with a small covered outdoor dining area that serves a complimentary breakfast, but there's an up charge for larger items such as omelettes, etc. When we were there work with the water system on the French side was going on, so at times during the day the water was shut down but the hotel supplemented this nicely with as much bottled water as necessary. I believe these water issues are now in the past.

The location of Palm Court is one of its best points. Just step out the front gate and the "Avenue des Plages" ('Avenue of the Beaches') is right there. It's a short walk to Orient Beach (about a hundred yards), and your reservation at Palm Court includes beach chairs and an umbrella at Bikini Beach (but not in the front row of chairs). Along the way there are at least ten places to dine, including a few of my favorites (Le Piment & Yellow Sub). Other places include Sao (asian cuisine), Le Pet't Bistro, La Voile Blanche, Le Telegraphe, and even a pizza place called 'Bo Pizza'. The square that encompasses most of these restaurants comes to life after dark, and various local merchants set up tables in the area offering hand made jewelry and other trinkets for sale. But, it's not a high pressure environment nor do things get too loud or crazy around here that we could see. If you need groceries or supplies the Petit Casino is also right on the strip, and they really stuff a lot of things into this little store. Sure beats having to drive to the Leader Price or Super U in Hope Estates!

We were originally going to stay here back in November, 2017 but Hurricane Irma had other plans. Palm Court suffered major damage from that storm, but it's back now and better than ever. Pricing is reasonable, and you won't be disappointed if you choose this place.
