I did locate that statistic, but the data you may have looked at was through April 10th of this year. Since April 16th they have had zero cases. And, in 13 months of this pandemic they have had a grand total of just one death. But, that's not the point I'm trying to make. The CDC is, strictly in my opinion, sweeping way to many countries and territories into this Level 4 category. There are indeed areas of the world where people, at this time, should refrain from traveling to. Like Brazil or South Africa. Maybe the CDC doesn't have the resources to analyze every tourist destination, but this 'lump dump' into Category 4 does not make sense to me. What is badly needed presently is for the CDC to update international travel guidelines for those who are fully vaccinated. BTW, the total population of both French and Dutch St. Martin/Maarten is actually around 77,700 residents when you combine both sides of the island (so it's even better here than we think!).
