I spoke directly with one of the ferry companies and they also said not to book until after 1 June. They are trying decide who will operate on which days and they do not like the 2pm departure out of STT as they feel it will run empty. It will have all the people who missed the 4pm boat the day before or planned an overnight to on purpose to break the trip up. To me, they should have had an 8am and 12pm departure from Tortola and a 10am and 4pm departure from St. Thomas so the same boat/crew could run the whole schedule each day.
