Guana Bay Beach then a drive on undiscovered (by us) roads to beautiful homes and great views of St Barts.

Later early evening we drove through Oyster Pond and finally found Le Planteur restaurant open. For 6 years we've checked it out and always closed. But we decided to keep our goal of dinner at L"Oasis

L'Oasis was formally La Frigate. We found Martine still there. Name & decor have changed but the food is still great. We both had red snapper with rice, creamed zucchini, and profiteroles for dessert. Wth just a bottle of water and profiteroles for dessert: bill was 55 euros.

They serve B,L, D Full American 2 eggs any style, bacon, potato pancake coffee orange juice 11e, omelets 5e and lots of pastries.

They have pizzas & salads from 9-13e, pasta 10-12e, dinners from pork tenderloin 16e, veal scaloppini 18e lamb 21e fish dishes from 16-20e

Place is very casual with no view. It's located at a turn in the road across from a small market. Further down the street is BHZ another place we've eaten lunch at in past trips. They serve crepes & gallattes...very good.

If you follow this road you come to a high point with a great view of Le Galion (Baby Beach).

As those of you who read my posts have probably figured out I come to SXM for the food. Hubby Don, comes for the warmth.
