My wife did a half marathon and by the time she finished training her knees were the size of bowling balls. Her friend, who is a coach as well as a world class iron man (woman), helped her get ready. My sweetie made it, but swore running would not happen again. I think she is an amphibian, but honestly she shines in the water.
As for me, I would love for a train to run from Coral Bay to Cruz Bay. However there is not a chance in all the blue water in the Caribbean that would get me to run over that hill.
Without starting a debate, my religion gets in the way.
When I was born God knew exactly how many heart beats I had in my life. There is no way in hell would I run that far an accelerate the count. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
The stress of making sure my sweetie has a dry towel is about all I can handle.
Please come over on Race Day - After all these years I would love to meet you.
