It’s unfortunate that this has taken so long. The good news is ultimately Trip Mate is owned by Generali, which is nearly 200 years old. This doesn’t mean they aren’t in financial trouble, but at least it’s not a 10 year old company.

Covid *is* the excuse of the day, but there’s no doubt it’s has affected Service and other industries. We just don’t have enough information to know when a company tells us “Covid” whether that’s true or not in our specific situation. It seems logical that they have a lot more claims then they had pre-Covid, but that doesn’t make you feel any better.
