There seems to me to be something wrong with the fact the crew didn’t know they were over their flight times and allowed you to board in the first place but I guess ‘stuff’ happens. Sounds like it all worked out in the end and I’m with you on the two week minimum stay. Someday I hope to convince DH we should stay for three weeks but so far, seventeen days is as good as it gets.
