We agree with Elaine. We walk down to down to Bread and Butter most mornings for pastries. On the way to Orient via the road around the ocean you will come to an intersection in Orleans where you have to go either left toward Phillipsburg or right towards Orient. On the left at that intersection is a larger bakery where the pastry and sandwich selection is larger than Bread and Butter. We will occasionally stop there for sandwiches to take to the beach. But Bread and Butter is our go to place for morning pastries. It is also a small store with grocery staples and alcohol. The bakery in Orleans was closed when we were on the island in August.
