Yes, that traffic was something else. I actually turn on that back road to get to Horny Toad but can see how confusing it would be if you haven't traversed it in daylight. So nice to see you and John, even if just briefly.
I know we’ve been on thar road and in that area but only once or twice and certainly not enough to really have our bearings and add to that, unbelievable amounts of traffic and it being dark, we were definitely out of our comfort zone. Oh, and not to forget to mention the occasional odd car going in the opposite direction than you, or at least trying to…… it was an experience but we did this once before at the closing parade for Carnival. We thought we were seeing the burning of King Momo but it turned out to be the dump on fire. 🙂🙂
Lagoonies posted a couple of weeks ago that Monique was working there. Did they tell you she was no longer there? There were some guys sitting down inside the bar area and while they never told us the bar was closed, they did say there was no Monique working there. Not the end of the world if we don’t connect but just wishing her well would be nice and hearing of her latest travels is always interesting.
